Please read this before you enroll. It sets out what ProbaLab is — and, just as importantly, what it isn't.
§1Educational content about game systems
ProbaLab teaches the mathematics inside video-game systems: expected value, random number generation, drop rates, loot-table balancing and variance, framed as tools a designer uses to build fair, satisfying mechanics. Everything here is for learning and for applying to game design.
§2Not about money games
This course is not about playing for money, and it does not teach anyone to profit from luck. When we talk about randomness, drop rates or variance, we mean numbers a designer chooses inside a game's own economy — never real-world money, never predictions of a chance-based result for financial gain. Nothing here runs on luck or on money riding on a result.
§3No guarantee of results
We're confident the material makes probability click, but learning outcomes depend on the effort you bring and how you apply the ideas to your own work. We don't promise a job, a specific skill level, or that any game you balance with this math will succeed. The course gives you tools and intuition, not certainties.
§4Accuracy
We work hard to keep the lessons, formulas and examples correct and up to date, and we revise them as we spot improvements. Even so, we can't guarantee the material is free of every error or that it fits every engine, framework or design context. Treat it as a well-built teaching resource, not professional or legal advice.
§5Prices and content
Prices are shown in Polish złoty (zł) and may change over time; a change never affects access you've already paid for. Course content may be updated, expanded or reorganised as the material improves.
